Metro East sits inside the Victoria Terrace plaza at 1448 Lawrence Avenue East, Unit 15, so you will be pulling out of a busy shopping-centre lot shared with a GoodLife gym, a Bulk Barn and several restaurants. Map data shows a lot set aside as "DriveTest road test parking only" on the Curlew Drive side of the plaza; check the signs when you arrive and leave a few extra minutes to find it. The plaza fronts Lawrence Avenue East, a wide arterial with up to six or seven lanes at 60 km/h, and the signal at Carnforth Road is right beside you, with larger signalized crossings at Victoria Park Avenue to the west and Curlew Drive/Railside Road and Pharmacy Avenue to the east. Broadlands Public School is a short distance away, so watch for school-zone signs. Inside services open Monday to Friday 7 a.m.–7 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m., and road tests run by appointment Monday to Saturday 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
