Local tips

Brantford's DriveTest Centre moved in early 2026 and is now in Unit 2 at 41 Morton Avenue East, in the north end near West Street. If you've seen older listings or directions for North Park Street, ignore them and go by the address on your booking confirmation. Map data shows surface parking around the building, set aside for the businesses on the site, so you shouldn't need to park on the street. The roads nearby make a good warm-up. Morton Avenue East meets West Street at traffic lights about 400 metres away, and heading east it reaches Wayne Gretzky Parkway, a multi-lane road with a 70 km/h limit and signals at Morton and Holiday Drive. The Highway 403 ramps are just beyond. Holiday Drive has roundabouts, so it's worth practicing yielding and choosing your exit. Prince Charles Public School is about 640 metres away, so watch for school-zone signs on weekdays. A community directory lists weekday hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
